Performance Analysis for Scaling up R Computations Using Hadoop ( 05/2015, Austin, TX)

There are a number of ways of integrating R with Hadoop and Spark. We explored RHIPE, Rhadoop, R Streaming, and SparkR and measured their performance. During the project we also compared the performance of Hadoop and Spark on open public datasets on the TACC super computer Stampede.

1st Place - ConocoPhillips Innovation Challenge ( 05/2014, Bartlesville, OK)

Competition focused on developing software for emerging technologies. My Pebble team beat out the Google Glass, iPad, and Web responsive teams, by creating a Pebble application that streams and graphs realtime data.

SCORM Javascript Injection ( 09/2012, Austin, TX)

Discovered a vulnerability that allowed users to automatically complete online courses on the widely adopted SCORM learning platform.
